On May 18, a delegation led by Zhu Maijin, the Chairman and Party Secretary of the Company, and Ren Yuanqing, the General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary, visited the Management Committee of Dalian Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone and held talks with Zhao Dong, the Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Dalian Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone.

Both parties jointly reviewed the cooperation history since the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement in October 2018. Zhu Meijin expressed gratitude to the Management Committee of Dalian Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone. for its strong support and assistance to the Company, especially in the construction of the Project of Changxing Island Chemical Logistics Park, and introduced the Company's LPG end-to-end business planning to the leaders of the Party Committee, and planned to replicate and develop the Changxing Island Chemical Logistics Park Project in Xizhong Island, as well as the preliminary concept for jointly promoting the construction of a supply chain for the hydrogen based green energy industries such as ammonia and methanol. He expected to jointly explore and connect the upstream and downstream industries such as LPG shipping, docks, and warehousing with the Changxing Island Economic Zone Management Committee combined with the industrial development plan of Xizhong Island and based on the port advantages of Changxing Island, thus providing with high-quality integrated logistics solutions for customers, providing basic supporting facilities for the industrial development of Xizhong Island, and helping the second entrepreneurship and take off of Changxing Island.

Zhao Dong stated that COSCO SHIPPING Investment Dalian Co., Ltd. is the only large state-owned enterprise registered in Changxing Island, and has always actively participated in the construction of Shipping Center of Northeast Asia and Changxing Island petrochemical industry. The two parties have a good foundation for cooperation. The development and construction of Xizhong Island is about to take a historic step. The construction of public facilities such as docks and warehouses is an important component for Xizhong Island to upgrade the industrial service functions and build a green petrochemical base. We hope that both sides may further refine and optimize the cooperation plan, continuously promote the cooperation between central enterprise and local government, create the model of cooperation, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Subsequently, Zhu Meijin and Ren Yuanqing led the team to conduct a survey of the Storage and Transportation Company. They listened to the report on the recent development and operation, market development and security work, as well as the difficulties and problems in development. They affirmed the work achievements and conducted in-depth discussion and exchange on the issues identified in the survey with cadres and employees of the Storage and Transportation Company, and expected that everyone could continue to carry forward the spirit of hard working and strengthen the construction of talent team, enhance the safety barrier, improve the management level and brand image to promote the development of the Storage and Transportation Company to higher quality.
