On May 8, Zhang Xincai, director of LiaoningProvincial Transportation Affairs Service Center and his delegationvisitedXizhong Island Port Project for on-site research. Wu Junfeng, deputy directorof Shanghai Changxing Island Development Construction Administration Committee,and Yu Zhenhong, deputy general manager of COSCO Shipping Investment Dalian , participated in the research.

In the exhibition hall of Xizhong Island PetrochemicalIndustrial Base in Dalian, the research group gained an in-depth understandingof the detailed planning, the roadmap of industrial chain, and operation modeof the petrochemical industrial park through the live sand tables and posters.

Yu Zhenhong made a detailed introduction to the Xizhong IslandPort Project with equity participation of COSCOSHIPPING, stating that the project is a critical initiative for COSCO Shipping Investment Dalian to promote the cooperation between COSCO SHIPPING and Liaoning Province. The company is accelerating the project, striving to achievesynchronous progress between corporate development and urban developmentstrategy, and assisting in the building of the Dalian Northeast AsiaInternational Shipping Center and Dalian International Logistics Center. It ishoped that Liaoning Provincial TransportationAffairs Service Center will provide guidance and support to theconstruction of the project.

Zhang Xincai highly affirmed the company's businessof chemical warehousing logistics in Changxing Island. He hoped that thecompany would graspthe opportunityof Northeast Asia Green Shipping Fuel SupplyChain Alliance to promote project construction, and play a prominent role inthe growth of green port industry in Liaoning Province.
