On November 28th, the signing ceremony for two newbuildings of Longpeng Company, a subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Dalian Investment, was held at COSCO SHIPPING HEAVY INDUSTRY Shipyard in Dalian.

The two newbuildings are 9,000 cubic meters ethylene multipurpose transport ship and 6,300 cubic meters LPG/liquid ammonia transport ship. They are expected to be completed and put into operation in the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026, mainly for the transportation of LPG, ethylene and liquid ammonia chemical gases along the domestic coast.

The addition of the new ships will further expand the capacity of the company's LPG fleet and enhance the diversity of loadable goods of the company's fleet.
